Please tell me, what is a better place to visit, and live in. China or Japan!?
Please tell me, what is a better place to visit, and live in. China or Japan!? I need to hurry and choose which language to focus on in college. I love both languages and colleges, please help me know which people are more accepting of Americans, funner, safe, ect.... Which language offers more media shows and funner music, ect... Which language is more useful in business, and in general...

hosetly i would go for japan the culture the music is just wonderful japan is a lot safer they welcome visitors and such China on the other hand has a nice culture buuut has a few major issues...ok i lied ALOT OF ISSUES! ......

i would personally go for japan i know a lot of people from both countrys and it is actually cheaper to live in japan though if you are not japanese they wont be as accepting as the chinese you would be you would probably be called a gajin (outsider) because it is more of a closed nation and mandarin if really the most useful language for buisness but japan has better music and media shows

China has an extremely small amount of foreigners compared to Japan and is just not ready to handle more people living there. In the sense that you wont be making as much money as you would in America or Japan and that the living conditions are very poor. Japan is extremely well prepared and there isn't any anti-American sentiment as many other countries. (However China doesn't have much either, Korea has a fairly large anti-American sentiment but they tend to be polite) Depending on what you are looking for Japan has a ton more technology compared to China. Chinese would be far more useful in business due to their country having an extremely fast growing economy. China is great for nature lovers if you get out of the cities. In general, if you like manga, games, and anime Japan produces far more then any other Asian country. Hope this helps.

I can not tell how or if I can read the personals in English! I am new to Shanghai and want to meet some friends. Help!

change the screen to English? do you mean the screen as a display or the screen as a Chinese Windows? If you mean change Chinese Windows into English Windows -- can be installed on your personal computer only Chinese Windows is Microsoft Windows localized otherwise hopeless

She was. As for his half brothers, they do indeed support communism but the liberal media makes no comment about it. You just have to read foreign newspapers to found out. If you'd bothered to read the articles you'd see that he shares a father, not a mother, with the half-brother in China and the half-siblings in Kenya. Obama's mother had 2 children - Barack and his half sister Maya - both with men she was married to. His father (Barack Obama Sr.) was married 4 times and had 8 total children.
