Why do so many people live in China

Why do so many people live in China?
I'm doing Geography homework and i need to write about a country and say if it is densely or sparsely populated. I choice China cause I just love that country and i have wrote a bit about it but im not sure why people live there. Does anyone know why so many people live in china?

Because before they instituted a 1 child only policy in 1979, the population growth was out of control as many people were not educated about birth control= and did not have the money for it anyway. dude they live there cuz they were born there? no duh. haha. people there just like to have sex, they like to reproduce, hhahaha. and now there's a law where you cant have more then i THINK 2 kids. it might even be 1. kinda sad. but yeap! thats why, um it could also be because of work. or they just like the enviroment there. i dunno.

So many people live in China because they are born there. That's a fact, but the underlying question is: Why is China so populous? The answer to that probably lies in the environmental conditions thousands of years ago. The laws of nature generally increase animal populations when there is an abundance of food and water; so at one time there must have been many edible plants and wild game available and good land for agriculture. In my many trips to China, I can testify that there is very little wild game by Montana, USA standards. My Chinese wife says, "Chinese people eat everything." And from what I have seen, that's true. So there was a huge base population in China which grew and grew over thousands of years. China's slowed it's population growth with the 1-child policy, but it's still the world's most populous place and the Chinese love their children ... so there are many, many people born there. ...and that's why so many people live in China. People and other animals usually live close to where they are born.

Before they only allowed one child per family, the chinese people really didnt care about birth control..Henceforth, they become overpopulated and had to institute a 1 child per family law.

I have several friends in China. They use the Personal VPN to unblock web sites. It is very reliable and encrypts your connection out of country so the censors can't see what you are doing. Some of them have been using it for up to 2 years with no issues. Avoid free proxies, many are run by hackers or governments. They are simple to block. If a proxy is working in China with all of their technology you can probably bet it's run by the government. Since the Chinese government probably employs more hackers than anywhere in the world you can also count on your computer being used for all sorts of spying and hacking once they plant the bot on it through the proxy. I live in china. Recently i saw a beautiful kitten Chartreux in a shop.What paper will i need to fly it back?
Also the price is about 3500 yuans about 388 euros 512 dollars do you think it's a good price? how can i be sure the cat is a real Chartreux? thanks for any serious answer.

pets in stores are NEVER top quality.. to prove its purebred you need registration papers. why not just get one from a breeder in your own country? or better yet adopt one thats going to be killed from your own country.. or better yet.. adopt a street cat from China....

i doubt you'll find Chartreux breeders in China, and it will cost you alot to get the papers and to freight the kitten to china, i would recommend you to search for other breed breeders in china like what is available there, and before that make sure that you have a pet store near you that sells good quality food.

China is a coal burning country....They are working on electrical power...Read about the Three Gorges Dam project on the Yangtze River. The people live all over the country...millions of them !!!! The smallest cities ogfChina have populations of over a million people. Better yet.......go there and visit...The prices are great now !!!

The vast majority of people in China live in the eastern one-third of the country. Within that one-third, the densest areas are: 1. The entire region between Shanghai and Beijing. 2. Along the length of the Chang Jiang (Yangtse River), stretching from Shanghai by the sea to the inland cities of Wuhan and Chongqing. 3. A much smaller but extremely dense industrial cluster in the southeastern Guangdong province centred around the cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
