Why authoritarian regimes such as China live constantly in fear of being toppled by people

Why authoritarian regimes such as China live constantly in fear of being toppled by people?
And out of this fear they constantly prosecute any voice that's in disagreement with the authoritarian regime?

That's a tautological argument. Authoritarian regimes behave that way because they are "authoritarian". It's part of the definition.

Authoritarian governments believe in absolute obedience to authority, so if someone disagrees with what they say......... snuff this thought out quick before this thought spreads! One major problem with this type government is that no group of people totally support any idea or thought 100% of the time. All people have minds of their own and think on their own, this enables them to form opinions of their own. So the jocks who see themselves as the authority set themselves up in a position that can not support itself with out the use of heavy force. Now you have the fear of the people by the authority in charge. This type government is not set up for the benefit of the country or people, it is set up and run for the benefit of the authority in charge. When there is a change in government in these countries the previous government (the CCP in this case) takes safe haven in a friendly country to them and takes all the wealth of the country they flee from.

According to japan's report, there are growing number of organizations in the usa which are anti government. No government is not worried about being toppled by people, including the usa. Can I ask you one question about how you think about Saudi Arabia and Kuwait where no political party is allowed and the royal family is everything, regardless you like it or not ? lol .... Oh, sorry ... I take back my question. I forgot that you guys rely their oil for survival. .

China is not a totalitarian regime or authoritarian, it is communist. It dosent mean that you cannot enjoy life or you cannot speak out, it just means more public property and less private property for the benefit of the lower class people. Didya know that you came vote in China :D? If you dont believe me then go check it out yourself. People are not that stupid into voting for a government that will limit their rights, they vote for a better one.

Should I live in China or the United States to help work and pay off student loans

Should I live in China or the United States to help work and pay off student loans?
I live in China now and I worry about the pollution, stress, and education, however the job market seems better here.

If you just show up in the US without proper visas you're going to have a lot of trouble with homeland security. Study this site very carefully before making any decisions that might drastically change your life forever. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis
2 :
i think you can live in us

Lived there and Done that. Live and work in the USA. China is very dirty, employments sucks because there are no labor laws, how about 18 hour days? Working holidays good for you? Also in general you will earn less that in the US, but your costs will be lower. Foreigners are looked at in general as prey, since we are so honest. Honesty is not prized by the Han Chinese, lying and being chongming or clever is what they prize. Chinese who know english are usually looking to entrap or blackmail you. Trust me.

Where do you want to live, China or USA

Where do you want to live, China or USA?
I am AmericanBornChinese Man. The culture of white americans in the USA has depicted the Yellow Man as a non-masculine little person and not attractive nor has business clout in America and to be ignored and cast asside as a non-player of important things in society. Also, that no white women should feel that a yellow man is sexy, but instead nerdy and awkward and impotent.

Well I'm Australian and I have plans to live in China for a year or two. I have no plans to live in the US.

USA

Definantly China!!!!! Its the best place in the world. Planty of people space and beauty.

Well, do you wish to live in an ADVANCED oppressive police state or in a DEVELOPING oppressive police state? Go to the PRC if you prefer the former; stay in the USA if you want to see how the latter turns out. Not all white folks see people of Asian descent in this stereotypical light. Non-masculine? I dunno, man: Bruce Lee was pretty bad-assed, if you ask me. And, yeah, that Yao Ming fellow---as tiny and non-athletic as they come. No business clout? Well, what's all this talk of China as a rapidly rising economic powerhouse, then---and why are they this country's largest creditor? And just WHY were Americans scared absolutely shitless of the Japanese economy back in the 1980s? "Non-player of important things in society"? I guess that's why there are so many prominent Asian and Asian-American scientists, academics, physicians and so forth in this country. And as far as looks, there really ARE handsome east Asian men as well as beautiful east Asian women. (And I mean this in the non-gayest fashion possible.) And jeez, guy, by the way they're not knocking down MY door, white (not to mention Asian, black and Amerindian) women apparently think I'M "nerdy and awkward and impotent"----and I'm quite caucasoid! So join the club, brother! In short, relax! Don't worry so much! And don't run away from us just yet!

First, I'd rather live in the USA (rather than communist China) because I can own land, worship however I please, at a church not licensed by the state, and have as many children as I please. Secondly, I have never depicted the "yellow man" as a non-masculine little person, unattractive, without business clout. As for the white women, forget about them! If you are a christian, then find yourself an old fashioned girl from the Philippines for a wife. If you are unsaved then you have nothing to lose by just living in sin with some stupid white prostitutes. Of course, in the long run, you'll be better off with a good christian wife and a relationship with Jesus Christ!

Can a permanent resident of U.S be allowed to live in China permanently

Can a permanent resident of U.S be allowed to live in China permanently?
I am intending to travel to China and live there permanently. So I would like to know whether or not I would be allowed to do that. I have heard that if do not return to U.S within 1 to 2 years and have intended to live China permanently, I would not gain a readmission to the United states. Is it true? If it is true, then I do not think that I would have any problems settling in China for the rest of my life.

Not really sure but why would you want to leave The US to live in China permanently. You have a lot more rights and freedoms in the US and living conditions are MUCH better for the average person.
2 :
you can live in China but you WILL LOSE the PR status for USA.
3 :
If it's your intent to live in China permanently you will lose your permanent resident status as soon as you leave. The law allows you to stay outside the USA for up to 1 year without a reentry permit and up to 2 years with one. However, your intent is also part of the equation. You've stated your intent is to live in China permanently so you will not even be allowed 1 or 2 years. As soon as the plane takes off and goes "wheels in the well" you're finished in the USA.
