search the population on google
2 :
I believe that the population is around 19,000,000 not many americans live in China but over 900 millions live in canada -Go figure-

This is a hard number to pin down. Americans are not required to register with the American Embassy so there's no exact count of those living in the country. The following information does not include Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan. In the 2006-7 academic year, the latest for which figures are available, 11,064 Americans studied in China, a large jump from 1995-96, when only 1,396 Americans studied there. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/17/education/17exchange.html This number does not include those who bring their families with them. It only counts the actual students. The number of American teachers in China is unknown. It is probably in the thousands and that number does not include family members. AmCham-China's (American Chamber of Commerce--Beijing) membership comprises more than 2,700 individuals from over 1,200 companies. Once again, this does not include family members, only the individual. This is only for Beijing and Tianjin and does not include every business person/family in Beijing as membership in AmCham is not required. http://www.amchamchina.org/article/1 AmCham Shanghai: 4000 http://www.amcham-shanghai.org/AmChamPortal/MCMS/Presentation/AboutAmCham/Default.aspx?HLLink=Par_link_Amcham&tb_Name=AboutAmcham AmCham South China: number not published AmCham Central China: number not published AmCham West China: number not published The American Embassy in Beijing alone employs 1100 people. The Shanghai and Guangzhou Embassies/Consulates employ approximately half that number: 550. The Consulates in Chengdu and Shenyang employ around 100 each. Once again, this does not include families. (Source: J. Lee, US employee of State Department in Beijing.) The largest expatriate communities are located in the largest cities: Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, etc. From there, you can go to provincial capitals and find expat communities there. I hope this has helped somewhat, even though it's not a clear number!
4 :
the number isn't stable coz there are many tourists who come and go each month... about several thousands... 6-8,000...
5 :
not many i don't think

How much would it cost me "per-day" to live in China in the rate on Chinese RMB

How much would it cost me "per-day" to live in China in the rate on Chinese RMB?
I know it cost different rates depending on where you live and teach English in China, but I want to plan a budget day by day needs, or even monthly. I'm not the type of person who spends money like crazy, I just need the daily stuff, nothing special, so how much would that be per-day? For example: "50 RMB to 100 RMB" per-day? or what? Thanks so much for your help. ^^

People live on wages of about $300 USD. You can live for only a few dollars a day...

It depends on which place you live and how well you can spend. There was a time when I exchanged 1 USD for RMB 8 but now it's not the same; now 1 USD = RMB 7.1 and daily commodities' price is also hiking daily. But I'd say it depends upon how you like to spend. Basically everyday we need to go to school/work, eat & buy some general stuffs for daily use. And for eating, if you can buy materials & make it at home, it'll be more cheaper than the price you pay out in restaurants. But even though if you eat outside like I do; - I pay 4 RMB (Max.) for my local breakfast (mostly 煎饼果子jianbingguozi & soya milk) - Lunch & Dinner (at school canteen: 5-8 RMB, Restaurant: 20 RMB) - Cooking becomes cheaper but as I don't cook, people who cook are complaining about price hike in green vegetables, tomatoes, pork, cooking oil and other grocery items. - Regarding daily necessities like toileteries it costs around 50 RMB And regarding transportation, Taxi ride (8 RMB; the initial meter reading) comes to be expensive compared to bus ride (1.5 RMB). But it's best to get a bicycle; i recommend buying second hand (stolen) bikes as new or even old bicycles get stolen; someday, somehow. Get second hand bikes for 100-150 RMB, but price can be negotiated sometimes.

I lived in Beijing for 5 weeks and managed to live comfortably on 100RMB a day (not including accommodation). That was 2 meals out, a snacky breakfast (banana or similar), an hour's Internet use, return journey on the metro, and the water I needed for the day. If you add taxis into the equation, it gets more expensive but it depends on how far you go in one. It's the only place in the world where I've never had to cook for myself and have been able to eat out twice a day for less than £5! Amazing stuff.
4 :
I am a student in college, China. I can spend 10RMB a day for my daily eat. And if i want some fun, i can spend 50-100RMB is enough. It is easy to live in China if you don't want to buy something very expensive.
5 :
approximately 30 yuan is for one good adult meal 30 x 3 = daily expenses for food smaller cities are cheaper, about 20 yuan per meal (to one of the users above -- i cannot imagine a good breakfast for 4 yuan, perhaps it's a snack)

Most of them became Han Chinese. So it is impossible to say how many.Because they surrendered to the Han dynasty, and the emperor move the huns to north border of China.
2 :
"Han Chinese"...??? WTF? I suppose the other guy mistook the Hungary in Europe for somewhere in China, which is VERY strange. But as far as I acknowledge most foreigners in China come from Asian countries like Singapore as well as Australia, Canada, US, UK and some European countries, probably not that many from Hungary.
