I'm afraid it's near to impossible to access Facebook in China.

I have several friends in China. They use the Personal VPN to unblock web sites. It is very reliable and encrypts your connection out of country so the censors can't see what you are doing. Some of them have been using it for up to 2 years with no issues. Avoid free proxies, many are run by hackers or governments. They are simple to block. If a proxy is working in China with all of their technology you can probably bet it's run by the government. Since the Chinese government probably employs more hackers than anywhere in the world you can also count on your computer being used for all sorts of spying and hacking once they plant the bot on it through the proxy. If you have been using free proxies it would be wise to scan your computer with Malwarebytes, just to be safe. http://www.malwarebytes.org There have also been reports of some of the free services making deals with the Chinese government to allow the service in exchange for providing the user data back to the government. The 100% reliable and safe approach is the Personal VPN which unblocks everything, encrypts your entire connection for security, and doesn’t get blocked daily. http://www.surfbouncer.com/unblock_china… or email them at unblock@surfbouncer.com.

I am from US and my wife is from China. We live in China... How to get her a tourist visa to the US

I am from US and my wife is from China. We live in China... How to get her a tourist visa to the US?
We would like to get her a tourist visa so we could just visit the US for a week or so.... What must we do to get this?

Unfortunately, because your wife has a US Citizen spouse, she will be automatically considered an overstay risk. The best chance of approval would be for her to provide definitive proof that she intends to return to China after her visit. Evidence of a current and ongoing lease/mortgage, employment and other financial and personal commitments are what they will want to see. If approved, she should take this documentation with her and have it on hand to show immigration officials upon arrival in the US as they have the ultimate say on whether she's granted admittance or not. Good luck.

I am from Guatemala and I am married to chinese woman, can I get permit to live in China

I am from Guatemala and I am married to chinese woman, can I get permit to live in China?
I married last August in China and I have a new valid tourist Visa L and I like to travel to China and take residence there (Guangxi Province) were my wife is living. She has a small Business, so I do not need any work Visa. I want to know, as I have the right to obtain a residence permit which allows me to live in China for indefinite time with my wife. Can I travel to China and apply for the permit in the country? Thanks for any answer Enrique

if you married in China you will apply for special residence permit as a family member... that's L-visa too... as far as i know you'll have to renew it regularly...
2 :
The blonde avatar "Elena S" is correct. You need a tourism "L" visa for the purpose of visiting your family member (wife). An "L" visa issued by your nearest Chinese consulate will have a 30 to 60 day stay duration. However, you may renew it for 6 months twice once inside of China. If you wish to apply for Chinese permanent residency, then that is a more complex issue. Consult the Chinese government website for details.
3 :
A L-visa is just a temporary short term soulition to your problem. What the others failed to mention is that you can apply for a so-called "Chinese green card as well" One of the conditions required for getting a "Chinese green card" is IV. Have come to China to be with your family, such as spouse, dependent minors or senior citizens. If you apply for it and get it, it is in effect a 10 year muti-entry visa. More details can be found at http://www.china.org.cn/english/LivinginChina/184128.htm The only way only can get a residence permit which allows me to live in China for indefinite time is to apply for Chinese citizenship, however such a process will make your one citizenship invalid in the eyes of Chinese law and you become full subject of Chinese law. Other than that you will have to renew your old visa towards the time it it due to run out. As for travelling to China on a L visa and applying in China yes you can. But you can always email, write, phone your nearest Chinese embassy and ask for a more defined answer.
4 :
my twin sister and her client both provide misleading information... you can always seek "Chinese green card"...
5 :
You need to get married at least for 5 years, and live in China more than 5 years, then you can go to the Exit and Entry Administration Ministry of Public Security or the local China Police Station to apply the Green Card, you need to have some paper work like your criminal record. You better to go to the Exit and Entry Administration Ministry of Public Security or the local China Police to ask for the detail, different province might have different policy, but the above is the basic.
6 :
Have your wife sponsored you and make the application with respective govt agency. Good luck!

So if you are a fan of the celtics or lakers or heat, but you live in china, does that make you a bandwagoner

So if you are a fan of the celtics or lakers or heat, but you live in china, does that make you a bandwagoner?
i really don't understand what some people's definition of bandwagoner here is... so if you don't live or you're not from that city, you can't be a fan of that team? i thought it was when you only start liking a team when they start winning or you go to the team where all the stars go to?

1 :
Bandwagon here : Anyone whos a fan of the best teams in the NBA Bandwagon period : Anyone who is only a fan of teams that win Chinese fans are usually bandwagon fans cause they'll rarely have a strong bond with a team like a New Yorker would have with the Knicks or a Canadian with the Craptors
2 :
^ But theirs no Nba team's in China to make them not a band-wagoner if they like a Nba team if you refer it that way. You don't necessary need a bond to like a team without being a bandwagoner.
3 :
being a "bandwagoner" or a "fair weather fan" has nothing to do with where you live. You are right in that a bandwagoner is someone who isn't a fan of a team until that team starts doing well. For example, a fan who had no interest in the Knicks when they were bad, but is now a big knicks fan because they are good is a bandwagoner.
4 :
What up T-Dog Aka Timmy, A bandwagoner is not determined by what location they live in- as much as it is defined by a person's loyalty to their team. There are times a team will pick up a lot of bandwagon fans- like with the Heat after the "Decision" but that does not mean everyone who is a Heat fan is a bandwagoner because they have fans that were loyal to the team. Just like Boston as well. Real fans stick with their team through good seasons and not so good seasons to miserable seasons. i think your understanding definition is correct. Nickster
5 :
Bandwagoners are people who jump from team to team and are never content with one, usually because they go with winning teams.
