It's kind of hard to choose because i lived at both places, for a week (it was a vacation). But i would have to go with china. They hav better food,lol... It also depends where u want to live in chine. There's a big diversity of where u can live. Rural of City like. I would try to avoid the poor places because lots of crime happen there. Trust me u can't miss the diff parts from rich-moderate-to poor. I lived at a upper moderate place and it was quite good, (somewhere in hong kong). U would have to live in a....... apartment kind of thing or condo (idk about my building names, lol). But the views are breath taking if u r'nt afraid of heights. Chinese is harder but the pronounceation is easier. If u want to live in Hong Kong or some other place, best thing to do is to learn a liitle of cantonese (google it), just to be safe... Just my opinion...
