Why authoritarian regimes such as China live constantly in fear of being toppled by people

Why authoritarian regimes such as China live constantly in fear of being toppled by people?
And out of this fear they constantly prosecute any voice that's in disagreement with the authoritarian regime?

That's a tautological argument. Authoritarian regimes behave that way because they are "authoritarian". It's part of the definition.

Authoritarian governments believe in absolute obedience to authority, so if someone disagrees with what they say......... snuff this thought out quick before this thought spreads! One major problem with this type government is that no group of people totally support any idea or thought 100% of the time. All people have minds of their own and think on their own, this enables them to form opinions of their own. So the jocks who see themselves as the authority set themselves up in a position that can not support itself with out the use of heavy force. Now you have the fear of the people by the authority in charge. This type government is not set up for the benefit of the country or people, it is set up and run for the benefit of the authority in charge. When there is a change in government in these countries the previous government (the CCP in this case) takes safe haven in a friendly country to them and takes all the wealth of the country they flee from.

According to japan's report, there are growing number of organizations in the usa which are anti government. No government is not worried about being toppled by people, including the usa. Can I ask you one question about how you think about Saudi Arabia and Kuwait where no political party is allowed and the royal family is everything, regardless you like it or not ? lol .... Oh, sorry ... I take back my question. I forgot that you guys rely their oil for survival. .

China is not a totalitarian regime or authoritarian, it is communist. It dosent mean that you cannot enjoy life or you cannot speak out, it just means more public property and less private property for the benefit of the lower class people. Didya know that you came vote in China :D? If you dont believe me then go check it out yourself. People are not that stupid into voting for a government that will limit their rights, they vote for a better one.
