i really don't understand what some people's definition of bandwagoner here is... so if you don't live or you're not from that city, you can't be a fan of that team? i thought it was when you only start liking a team when they start winning or you go to the team where all the stars go to?

Bandwagon here : Anyone whos a fan of the best teams in the NBA Bandwagon period : Anyone who is only a fan of teams that win Chinese fans are usually bandwagon fans cause they'll rarely have a strong bond with a team like a New Yorker would have with the Knicks or a Canadian with the Craptors

^ But theirs no Nba team's in China to make them not a band-wagoner if they like a Nba team if you refer it that way. You don't necessary need a bond to like a team without being a bandwagoner.

being a "bandwagoner" or a "fair weather fan" has nothing to do with where you live. You are right in that a bandwagoner is someone who isn't a fan of a team until that team starts doing well. For example, a fan who had no interest in the Knicks when they were bad, but is now a big knicks fan because they are good is a bandwagoner.

What up T-Dog Aka Timmy, A bandwagoner is not determined by what location they live in- as much as it is defined by a person's loyalty to their team. There are times a team will pick up a lot of bandwagon fans- like with the Heat after the "Decision" but that does not mean everyone who is a Heat fan is a bandwagoner because they have fans that were loyal to the team. Just like Boston as well. Real fans stick with their team through good seasons and not so good seasons to miserable seasons. i think your understanding definition is correct. Nickster

Bandwagoners are people who jump from team to team and are never content with one, usually because they go with winning teams.
