I live in China. What is average price of asparagus in USA now?
I love asparagus and can buy here in China, retail at 6 rmb per half kilo ($0.88 per half kilo or $0.72 per lb)now, during this season. What is prices now in USA supermarkets or farmers markets where you live per lb? Many varieties white or purple or green, all same price. Am sure can get lower "quantity price" and thinking of exporting to USA

I was able to catch a sale at 1.99 per pound for fresh.

Your problem with exporting won't be price related. Have you looked at the regulations for importing fresh vegetables into the USA? Not that that they'll be very fresh by the time they arrive. Great idea. Bound to fail. Or someone would have done it already!

Somewhere between $3-$4 per lb. It has been one of the most expensive vegetables, things like green cabbage only sells one tenth of that price. The only produce I've seen imported from China is garlic. Maybe because it can survive the long transport time. Not sure if importing canned asparagus is a better idea.
